my husband used to live in california. he used "first united credit services union" for several car loans. They are a credit union in the SF bay area. He had a checking account through them. we have also used GMAC and got a fair deal with them. I would advise staying away from Wells Fargo.
If you have a poor credit score, it is difficult to get a loan from most banks and financial institutions. Credit is usually available only at a very high interest rate.Only few companies provide loan with poor credit score.Check out link for details.
