Southwest Flight Credit?

I recently won a trip to Las Vegas which includes two Southwest Airline Tickets. Since I live in Los Angeles and I wanted to drive instead. My question is if someone else books the flights with their credit card, but the tickets are under my name and I cancel the airlines tickets, who get the credit through Southwest? Me or the credit cardholder?

I tried calling Southwest about this, but their wait time is 45 minutes : (

If it is a non refundable ticket he credit should go under your name, it is a credit under the ticket you canceled with which you can rebook for another flight within one year from the ticket issue date. If the ticket is refundable, the credit goes to the card holder.

You will not get a cash refund…….airlines do not refund money…….they will issue you a voucher for future travel within the next year…minus a cancellation fee……most likely $100 bucks or so…………sorry……….but that’s life………….

The credit will go to whoever’s name is on the ticket.

You get the credit. If the ticket is under your name, it goes to you.
